Salerno restaurant was started in 1975 by New York Restaurateurs Tony Manzi. Born in New York, raised in Italy Tony Brought traditional Italian fair to Laguna Beach. Chef Carmelo started in 1976 and Polina came on as a waitress in 1979. After working for Tony 22 years, she bought the restaurant in 1995 , and continues to serve the same great food to loyal customers, thanks to dedicated family members and a wonderful staff. Salute!
